Donald Voorhees Obituary
Blairstown - Donald E. Voorhees, 73 years of age, of Blairstown, NJ, passed away on April 22, 2021 in Frelinghuysen, NJ. He was born in Neptune, NJ on September 9, 1947 to William J and Vivian M (Warner) Voorhees.
He was a process engineer for the former Howmet Co, currently Alcoa in Dover, NJ. He had attended the 1st Baptist Church of Newton.
He is survived by his wife, Judith (Schoonover) Voorhees, two sons, Timothy Voorhees and Thomas Voorhees and daughter in law Melissa. Two grandchildren, Collin and Delia Voorhees, and a sister
Sally Williams and husband Clarence Knutsen.
A visitation is scheduled from 2-5 PM, Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ 07825 with a funeral service scheduled at 11 AM, Monday, April 26, also at Newbaker Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Donald's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 23 Vreeland Road, Florham Park, NJ 07932, act.alz.org/donate.

Kathy and I can't say enough about how sorry we are to hear of Don passing away. I miss my Best Man and co-worker at How-met and our Best friend. We'll be in touch, soon. God Bless and keep you and family safe!!!
