I was most fortunate to know Don who became best friends during Military Service, 521st Military Police, Va. Spent many nights playing Rummy together, his favorite card game. We worked and played together. He will always be fondly remembered. Rip "Chief".

I worked with Don as an MP with the 521st MP Co Ft Belvoir Va. 1966-67. Great easy going guy. We both read "Lord of the Rings" and would trade dialogue back and forth. "HE IS NOT ALONE!" he´d yell but it was hard to picture Don as Legolas the Elf. Beers down at the EM Club on the Potomac.
See you later on Fiddler´s Green, Pineapple!
