Donald Gene "Sam" White

Econ was a subject I always dreaded but because of coach White I took away so much from the class. He would always help me with tests and assignments when I was lost and stressed and would be proud of me for every small achievement in class, whether it was a question I got on the whiteboard or a good grade on my test. He would always teach with a smile and had so much patience when I couldn´t understand the simplest questions. I took away so much from his class that is now keeping me going in college. Not only econ but he always made our class laugh with conversations in the middle and made sure that every single student felt comfortable and enjoyed his class.

Coach White was my AP Econ teacher during senior year. Once, I had to make up some work and I was having a tough day. Coach White noticed and took the time to help me through the assignment, cheer me up, and make sure I was doing okay. Coach White wasn´t just an amazing teacher - was also a wonderful, kind, and caring person.
