Donald White Obituary
Donald Louis White, 70, of Cedar Creek, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023.
Donald Louis White was born on March 31, 1953, to Shirley (Dutch) and Sue Hardin White in Cedar Creek, TX. He was the 10th of 11 children born to this union. Donald attended school in Bastrop County and professed his hope in Christ at an early age. He was a member of Mt. Woodrow Missionary Baptist Church of Cedar Creek Texas. He was well known as the local mechanic in town and was known for his generosity and jolly spirit.
Donald met the love of his life, Olivia Hobby-White and married her on January 31, 1981. To this union, 3 children were born.
He was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Olivia; his parents, Shirley and Sue Hardin White; two sisters and one brother.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Derrick Hubert and Donnie White; daughters, Donna Hobby-White (Terry), Jeanette Shaw (James), and Genise Hemphill; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Celebration of Donald’s Life will be conducted at the Providence District Association Tabernacle of Cedar Creek, Friday, September 8th at 11:00 AM with Pastor J. Baker presiding. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery of Bastrop.
