I met Joe at Phil´s Deli. He was a lunch time regular with Pat his wife. A group of girls and I were regulars too . Joe wore Bermuda shorts in all kinds of weather... July or January. Joe´s sense of humor was legendary to our table at Phil´s. His quips kept us laughing...One time in recent months , I heard Joe´s cancer had returned... he still kept us laughing as he stopped by our table to visit. Last week , after missing several weeks, I was at Phil´s Deli again. Where are Joe & Pat? ?? It was then I learned that our brave and funny Joe had died. He left our table laughing....Imagine the joy of heaven waiting for him! Bonnie Gilbert

So sad to hear about Joe. What a great guy. We worked together for years and he was the consummate professional.

I feel like I have lost a true friend, because I have. Will the memories close forever.

We lost a good man! Joe will be missed tremendously.
Being his neighbor, we always knew when Joe left for work and came home because we could hear his Porsche heading our way with music blaring! Of course our teenage kids thought Joe was pretty cool driving his Porsche.... And playing his "cool" tunes!
For several years Joe would treat a group of his neighbors to breakfast on New Years. Always a fun time!
Joe always laughed when our 3 year old granddaughter decided to name him, Baby Joe! we will always love our "Baby Joe´. He loved her hugs and her special name for him!
I remember Joe and Ed standing in the driveway talking about stocks and world affairs. And, he loved talking to my dad about world events too. Lots of good conversation!!
We always enjoyed seeing you two at Phil´s and joined you for a few meals.
I remember how Joe would say... forget growing grass just paint it all green!
The memories could go on and on.
Joe lived a good life. Pat supported him through thick and thin. He was not just a great neighbor he was a true friend.
We miss him everyday and send our deepest condolences to Pat and the girls!
The entire Jackson family will keep all of you in our prayers. And remember, we are only a driveway away.
With love,
Julie and Ed Jackson
