Donald Lee Wolf, age 78 of Flowerfield, MI passed away at his home on November 9, 2025, after battling a long illness. He was born in Valentine, IN on April 4, 1947, the son of Lewis and Dortha (Ault) Wolf. Donald attended Vicksburg High School and was part of the 1965 graduating class. Immediately following high school, Don would enlist in the United States Army and proudly serve his country overseas in Vietnam. On March 23, 1990, he would meet Cyndi Dailey, and seven days later, the two love birds were married in Jellico, TN on March 30, 1990. For over thirty years, Don worked at the Simpson Paper Company/Fox River Paper Company in Vicksburg, MI; where many game of Liar's Poker were played during break time. Don was a wonderful provider for his family and friends, making sure that everyone was taken care of. His work ethic and dedication to his family was number one priority; being a wonderful dad in a blended family and striving to be a great family man. Don was a man of few words, so when he spoke, there was substance behind it. His sense of humor was unmatched, playing the guitar in the living room so his English bulldog Katie could sing and show her talents. Taking fishing trips with his friends and family always turned into an adventure; sometimes testing to see if the trailer and truck would float. He enjoyed canning his fruits and vegetables from his garden; a strong feat for a man who refused to eat brussel sprouts for thirty five years. On most occasions, he was a simple man, who enjoyed the simple things in life; and cold beverage and listening to old country music with his family.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 35 years; Cyndi Wolf; 6 children; Don Jr (Olivia) Wolf, Irene (Jay) Milbrandt, Dennis (Tina) Wolf, Pam Kohler, Bradley (Amanda) Kohler, Arnie (Melissa) Kohler; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 siblings; Sue (Tim) Barnes, Jay (Deb) Wolf; and many nieces, nephews, and extended families. He was preceded in passing by his parents; Lewis and Dortha Wolf; and his 3 brothers; Kenneth, Doug, and Roy Wolf.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation is taking place. A burial at Ft. Custer National Cemetery will be planned for the spring of 2026. It is suggested that donations made in Don's name be made to the VA office in Battle Creek, MI. Condolences and memories may be expressed to his family at eickhofffuneralhome.com
