Donice Melvin Nicholson Jr., 64 of Hartwell, Ga. passed away peacefully at Hartwell Health and Rehabilitation on Sunday March 15, 2026. He is the son of the late Donice Melvin Nicholson Sr. and the late Sandra Sue Haney Foster. He is survived by his five children: Crystal Dawn Cash (Daniel) of Conyers, Cory Melvin Nicholson (Maritza Grabiella) of Covington, Bradley Wyatt Nicholson (Sirepro) of Covington, Brianna Wynn Savage (Ronnie) of McDonough, and Dawson Lee Nicholson (Seanna Marie) of Newborn. Two sisters: Mary Ann Brothers (Vincent) and Hollie Nicholson. One brother; David Nicholson. Grandchildren; Aaron Pilkington, Landon Pilkington Evan Pilkington, Madelynn Nicholson, Rose Nicholson, Kayden Harris, Rylan Nicholson and many grand-pups.
Donice was a very skilled auto mechanic with a good work ethic. He loved Elvis Presley, collecting old toys, old cars, and enjoyed good food. It has been said that Donice could not dance.
Donice wishes were to be cremated. Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street, Hartwell, Ga. 30643.
