Donna Jean Schubert Adams

Born December 24, 1937

Died March 18, 2025

Born Dec. 24, 1937 to William Hamilton and Jean Hamilton Huber in Indianapolis, IN. It is with great sadness that we announce her passing after a courageous battle with lymphoma on March 18, 2025 in Sarasota, FL.

Donna married Charles Schubert and shared nearly 50 wonderful years together before his passing in 2006. She is survived by her husband, Ron Adams; children Lori Schubert Hoeg, Brett Schubert and Bart Schubert, Jenny Pedan, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Donna co-founded the Young Republicans of Marion County, IN, and later had an instrumental role in helping Dan Burton become a U.S. Congressman, serving as his campaign manager. After his election, Donna continued to support his work as his District Manager for several years. She later transitioned into a successful career in real estate, earning recognition as one of the top 1% of agents in a three-state area.

She had a zest for life; bowling, golfing and playing bridge were her primary hobbies, and spent her winters in Florida with Ron. Her strength, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held at Northside Baptist Church, 3021 E 71st St, Indianapolis, IN 46220 on Friday, March 28, with visitation from 12:30 – 2:00, celebration service from 2:00 – 3:00, followed by a burial service Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northside Baptist Covenant Foods Pantry.
