Donna Bednorz Obituary

Donna B. Bednorz, age 79, was called home on November 4, 2025 with her children by her side.
She was born on December 29, 1945 to Kenner and Bertha Buckley in Freeborn, Kentucky, one of nine children, a coal miner's daughter.
During her childhood the family moved all over the country and for a period of years lived in Monterrey, Mexico. In May of 1965 she married William Eugene Bednorz in George West at the Methodist Church.
Donna enjoyed painting, making ceramics and crocheting. She worked various jobs from being a lunchroom lady for the George West ISD to gate guarding in the valley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years and one great grandson.
She is survived by her children, Missie (Aubrey) Davis of George West, Tx. and William Cory Bednorz of Three Rivers, Tx. 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, beginning at 9AM until 10AM with a Funeral to begin at 10AM with Pastor Pat Traxler Officiating.
Burial will follow in the George West Cemetery.
