Donna Jean Brown Sunrise Jan 3, 1959, Sunset September 11, 2025, after a long battle with an illness. Donna was born third child to the marriage of Robert and Annette Conley.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and maintained a relationship with God through daily conversations with Him throughout her later life. She spoke with Him as though he was in the room, a friend and father to whom she could always turn. Donna fought an excellent fight. She went through more than most people could even imagine. She never complained and never gave up. Even when we knew she was tired, she kept fighting. Donna never let her illness stop her from enjoying life. She attended every event she could, she participated in all that she could as much as she could. Donna was determined that she was not going to give up the fight. Through countless hospital stays, she continued to talk to God and said, “When you say it’s enough, then and only then will I give up the fight”. I know heaven had a concert when she walked through those gates. She was reunited with her paternal father and spiritual father. They welcomed her with open arms and said, “Well done my good and faithful servant you, can come on in.”

Donna was preceded in death by her father, Robert Conley, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Reather and Jepta Cody and paternal grandparents, Lucille and John Conley Donna is survived by her loving husband of 40.5 years, Richard Brown; her sons, Ryan and Rashad Brown; grandsons, Carter Brown Smith and Collin Smith; mother, Annette Conley; adopted sons,

Rickey and Lupe Martinez; god daughter, Patricia Williams; three (3) sisters, Sharon (Anthony) Howze, Marnita Conley and Francine (Tony) Conley; brothers, Robert (Amanda) Conley, Michael (Laquisha) Conley; sisters-in-law Mary and Meuse Suzan of Youngstown, OH; aunts, Reather Marsh, Beverly Moore, Joyce (Jay) Johnson, Kitara Marshall, Starla Owens, Courtney Jones, Michael Slaughter, Autumn Conley, Ebony Vines, Mykia Marshall and Sydney Conley; a host of cousins, friends, and extended family.

We will miss you dearly Donna, but we know you’re well now…no more pain… rest in Heaven my beautiful queen. You’ve received your crown.
