Donna Cennamo, 78, passed away on December 11, 2024, in Danbury, CT. Donna was born October 21, 1946, in Bridgeport, CT. She is predeceased by her parents Helen (Price) & John Lezinsky.
She is survived by her loving children, Angela Silver & her husband Robert of Newtown, CT, John Cennamo of Newtown, CT, and Carlo Cennamo & his partner Jill Freidberg of Seattle, WA. Her adored grandchildren Robert & Isabelle Silver, Camilla Cennamo, Josiah & Lucas Cennamo-Rose. Her eldest son Joseph Cennamo, III passed away in 2020.
Throughout her career, Donna dedicated her talents by working with multiple fuel companies, showcasing her professionalism and unwavering work ethic. Beyond her career, she gave her time and energy to her community, serving as a valued member of the vestry at St. Paul's Church in Brookfield, CT. Her commitment to both her faith and her work was a testament to her character, leaving a lasting legacy in all she touched.
Donna was a deeply devoted mother and grandmother, cherished by her children and grandchildren who adored her beyond measure. She was also the compassionate and loving pet parent to Spencer, her loyal companion. A gifted cook, Donna's meals were not just food but experiences, always eagerly anticipated and savored by those fortunate enough to sit at her table.
Her adventurous spirit shone through her love of travel, as she explored countless destinations around the globe, embracing the beauty of different cultures and landscapes. Donna had a passion for cars and a keen eye for shopping, always uncovering remarkable bargains with her impeccable sense of style and savvy. She lived life with joy, love, and an infectious zest that touched everyone around her.
A service to celebrate Donna will be held on December 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, 174 Whisconier Road, Brookfield, CT.
Donna will be forever remembered, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
