Dear Louie,
I am so saddened to hear that our dear Donna has passed away. We have remained friends ever since our four years at Danbury State College from 1960 - 1964. Donna was so sweet and always laughing. Thank you for inviting me to her 80th birthday party last year. I wish I could have spent more time with her.
God bless you Lou. Donna is safe at home with our Lord.

The very first time I played golf with Donna, we hit it off and talked the whole round. I was disciplined afterwards for distracting her during play. Well, you could have fooled me. Donna was by far the most helpful and kindest golf friend. We had many laughs together. Neither of us had kids, we were both married to teachers and we got married the same year. That's enough to start a friendship. When Donna invited me to play in any type of tournament we won most of them.
I can only believe that someone is saying "Quiet on the Tee Please" as she takes that practice swing and then watches the ball go far and straight down the fairway.
Donna was also the most prolific putter I ever played with.
My sincere condolence to Lou (her at home caddie) for his loss.

I am her cousin and the same age. I remember as kids having family parties at our Gramps. She would golf on the property and sometimes try to teach me , it never worked out well. Great picture of her. William J Fairbank

Having heard about Donna from my dad, Bud Fahy, I knew, I had to up my game in order to play with her. I finally did and we had some great matches(she won most!)
As a team, we won many, but most importantly we were friends. I´m sorry you were taken too soon
Condolences to everyone who ever came across Donna´s path. She was a gentle soul
