Donna Marie Daniel

1942 - 2025

Donna Marie (Koozer) Daniel passed away on November 11, 2025, at Mt. Olivet Care Center after complications from two strokes and a broken hip. Her husband, Doug, and Pastor Dixon were by her side.

Donna was born July 5, 1942, in Clearfield, PA. The oldest of seven children, she grew up helping care for her siblings and graduated from Clearfield High School in 1960. She briefly worked at Clearfield National Bank and attended McConnell Airline School before joining Northwest Airlines as a reservation agent, later becoming a flight attendant-her dream job. Donna did win the Miss Plimptonville beauty contest.

After moving to Minnesota, Donna met Doug at the Northwest Training Facility, and they married on September 28, 1963, at Central Lutheran Church. They made their home in Minneapolis and Bloomington before settling in Burnsville, where they raised their children, Michael and Tiffany.

Donna worked in several roles over the years, including Holiday Stores, Donaldson Manufacturing, National Car Rental, and Mir-A-Cle Workers. She earned an Accounting degree with honors from Normandale Community College and later worked 12 years for Bloomington Chrysler Plymouth and 21 years for Eco Works Supply.

She is survived by her husband Doug; son Michael (Phoenix, AZ); daughter Tiffany, son-in-law Michael Murphy, and granddaughter Audrey (Los Angeles, CA); siblings Carolyn Thurstin, Gail (Ruth) Koozer, and Ashley Koozer; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by siblings Michael, Alan, and Rita, and her parents Rosalia and Vernon.

Donna loved gardening, reading, bridge, and bowling. She and Doug enjoyed British mysteries, summer evenings on their porch, and travels-including trips to Europe and visits to see their children and granddaughter. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Visitation: November 20, 5-8 p.m., White Funeral Home, Burnsville.

Funeral: November 21, 1 p.m., Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, with one-hour visitation prior and luncheon to follow. Service will be livestreamed.
