Obituary of Donna Jean Dudar
Donna Jean Dudar age 69, died at Calvary Hospital, in Bronx, New York, on June 7th, 2023. She was a graduate of St. Frances of Rome elementary school and Columbus High School in the Bronx. She met and married Michael Cursio and together, with their son John, they lived in Yonkers until his passing in 1990. She later met and re-married John Dudar and together they lived in Yonkers until his passing in 2008.
Donna adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She especially loved her three grandchildren, John Jr., Mark, and Max. She was an avid lover of animals and was known for rescuing wild animals in need of care. She also enjoyed watching boxing and her favorite baseball team, the Yankees.
She is survived by her son, John, his wife Jessy, and their three children of Cortlandt Manor. She is also survived by her mother, Jean Pignotti-LaFemina, and brother Joseph Pignotti of Yonkers, New York. She was preceded in death by her father John Pignotti.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY.
Chapel Service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 10:00 am at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY.
Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, 1033 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY.
