Donna Gammon

Our world sadly lost a beautiful soul on Sunday, twenty third of January 2022, when Donna Frances Gammon went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ, her parents and sister. Donna's life started on the twelfth day of January in the epic year of 1941 in Wenatchee, WA. to Albert and Viola Taylor with sister Leila brothers Owen and Anthony who currently reside in WA. A family that grew up in Loon Lake. Donna cherished life's beautiful offerings, starting with her husband of 58 years. She and Ron met at the Gazette Times in 1961, a little newspaper in Corvallis. She was inspired to work for a Bachelor's Degree and proceed to teach. Donna was a wife, friend, aunt, grandma and great grandma and the best mother the world has ever known. A teacher of life, patients and virtue to all she touched, so many have been influenced by her vision and immense love for all. She enjoyed teaching, traveling, helping others as well as being an accomplished artist. She is survived by her husband Ronald Gammon and their children Ryan who married Dion with their sons Reece and Reid. Daughter, Rhonda married Andy and their beautiful daughters, Tina and Megan. She is also survived by her four great grandchildren, Landon, Henley, Roxanne and Everix. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as those she reached but never met. Private family graveside service this Friday the 28th at 1:00pm at the Alsea cemetery.
