Donna Rae Johnson (Casner), 77, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 25, 1948, Donna lived a life filled with warmth, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to those she cherished.

She is survived by her children, Michael Johnson and his wife, Terri; Barbara Troyer; and her stepdaughter, Kim Johnson. Her grandchildren include Samantha Robertson (Jason), Jennifer, Kaylee, Thomas Jacob (T.J.), Caleb, Lydia, and Brook. She was a proud great-grandmother to Brayden, Kiera, and Sophie. Donna is also survived by her siblings, Margaret, Susie, her twin brother, Donald “Butch." and brothers, Ronnie and Jim.

Donna was a beloved figure in her family and community. She was a devoted homemaker for many years before working at Walmart in Plano, where she shared her kindness and humor with coworkers and customers alike. Her compassion shone through her volunteer work and in the values she instilled in her family—strength, laughter, and love.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Donna found joy in fishing, camping, and spending time with her loved ones under open skies. Her crocheted afghans remain treasured keepsakes, each stitch a reflection of her creativity and care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Sannauk Forest Preserve, Cabin 1. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance.

Donna’s presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Rest in peace, Donna—you will be forever loved.
