Donna Kershaw, 95, of Silver Creek, died July 27, 2024 at Prairie Village in Columbus.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2024 at the Methodist Church in Silver Creek, NE. Visitation is Sunday, August 4, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designations. The family gives special thanks to Merlene Burg, Connie Vanek, and Prairie Village.
Donna was born February 18, 1929 in Silver Creek, NE to Arthur and Anna (Born) Engel. She attended country school and Silver Creek High School. Donna was united in marriage to Bruce Kershaw on January 6, 1946 in Marysville, KS. Donna worked at home and was a homemaker keeping the farm in order. She was always a great helping hand on the farm doing various farm chores.
Donna enjoyed cooking, baking, auctions, embroidering, and spending time with family. Her family was a very important part of her life.
Donna was a member of the Methodist Church which she was involved in throughout the years.
Donna is survived by:
Daughter- Sharon Frizzell of Osceola
Son- Ron (Jan) Kershaw of Clarks
Son- Brian (Tania) Kershaw of Silver Creek
Grandchildren- Lisa (Travis Vanek) Kershaw, Eric, Logan, Carson, Lane Kershaw, Jodi (Brad) Koza, Heidi (Rick) Woodman, Erin Riley, Jamey (Heather) Kershaw, Lauri (Slater) Turner, Nikki Brunken, Josh (Becky) Frizzell.
Great grand children- Ty, Gavin, Jace, Aiden, Taylor, Grant, Coty, Koby, and Jaxon.
She is preceded in death by:
Husband- Bruce Kershaw
Granddaughter- Lily Kershaw
Infant great-granddaughter- Olivia Koza
