Published by Legacy on Mar. 30, 2026.
Donna Paulette Killen, 65, of Dagsboro, Delaware, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, at Tidal Health Hospital in Seaford, surrounded by her loving family.

Donna was born on May 17, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Bertha Foxwell and Paul Dimitriu. She attended North Dorchester High School. After high school, Donna built a life centered around family, hard work, and the simple joys that brought her happiness.

On May 6, 2000, Donna married the love of her life, Bruce Killen. Together, they created a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

In 2021, Donna retired from her position as Housekeeping Inspector for Heather's Home Works in Dagsboro, where she was known for her strong work ethic and attention to detail. Outside of work, she found joy in crafts, puzzles, reading, and keeping up with the current events, but nothing meant more to her than spending time with her family.

Donna will be remembered for her warmth, her caring nature, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She had a way of making people feel comfortable and cared for, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Killen of Dagsboro; her sisters, Jamie Ralph of Pensacola, Florida, and Andrea Karcher of New Freedom, Pennsylvania; her daughters, Janet Mansfield and Kelly Wright, both of Federalsburg, Maryland.

She also leaves behind children she gained through marriage that she loved as her own; Jason Killen (Deanna) of Georgetown, Delaware, Jamie Killen (Crystal) of Gumboro, Delaware, and Jessica Mariner of Millsboro, Delaware.

She was a loving Mommom to: Will Brewington, Abby Wright, Scott Bradley, Rachel Smith, Jason Killen, Jr., Madison Killen, Jacob Killen, Jackson Mariner, Karson Mariner, Kaleb Roe, and Landen Roe; and her great-grandchildren, Raegan Smith and Declan Smith.

Donna is also survived by a special niece, Amanda Dimitriu, who held a very special place in her heart.

Proceeded in death by: her mother, Bertha Foxwell, brothers Paul & Raymond Dimitriu, sister Lydia Greenwood and her beloved son David (DJ) John Mansfield II who forever was held in her heart.

Donna's family was the center of her world, and her legacy will live on through each of them.
