Donna J. LaFazia-Garcia, 66, passed away peacefully at her home in Lakeville, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family. Born in New Bedford, MA, Donna spent much of her life between Lakeville, MA, and Jacksonville, FL, where she built a home filled with warmth and care. Donna dedicated her life to helping others as a nurse, and she carried that same compassion into every part of her life. She was a talented cook and baker and loved to craft. Her greatest joy however, was her family. As a devoted matriarch she lovingly raised not only her children but also her grandchildren, instilling in them the values of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love. Cherishing her memory are her mother Joan, sister Sharon, children; Jeremy, Tricia, and Angelyn, as well as her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will carry her spirit forward in their hearts and lives. Donna will be remembered as an extraordinary daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Someone whose presence made life brighter for all who knew her. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
