Donna Marie Lamastus, born on June 5, 1962, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at the age of 63. She was the beloved daughter of Wilma (Bourbon) Aubuchon and the late Earl Sansoucie. Donna grew up in Cadet, Missouri and made a life filled with loving memories.
Donna’s hobbies included canning vegetables from her garden and cooking. She had a passion for tending to her flowers and maintaining a neat yard. With her enjoyment for cleanliness, she often took pride in keeping her home tidy. Donna also enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends. In her leisure, Donna liked to explore antiques, comparing her cherished finds with items sold on eBay. Above all, she adored her five grandchildren: Joslyn Sansoucie, Hayden Dean, Anthony DeClue, Isabella Dean, and Kinsley Gonzalez, as well as her great granddaughter, Audrey Leann Dean.
Additionally, Donna leaves behind her mother, Wilma Aubuchon; two children, Amy Gonzalez (husband, Hermilo) and Cody Lamastus; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter; and five siblings: Carla Pickett (John), Jeff Aubuchon, Tina Miller (Jerry), Sheila Weible and John Politte. Donna will be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Donna is preceded in death by her father, Earl Sansoucie and her step father Larry Aubuchon and many other dear relatives.
Her visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM, all taking place at DeClue Funeral Home, located at 301 E High Street, Potosi, Missouri, 63664. Pastor Kevin Smith will be officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi.
