Well, I guess this is where I'm supposed to tell you a little about my mom Donna Ann Lockhart. Well, let me start by saying she was full of love, kindness, and compassion, but she did not take shit from no one, lol. Only standing 5'2, this little lady was full of life. In her younger years before her children, she enjoyed going out to rock concerts, shooting pool, and all around having a good time. She showed me a picture once when she was super pregnant with me; her son Lance, and she was at an AC/DC concert at the warehouse in New Orleans. She said every time they hit the giant gong, I would start jumping around
I could remember as a young boy chasing floats with my mom and sister in New Orleans and my mom wrestling with people for them good giant beads for her babies. She loved to cook huge meals for her family, and by all means necessary, she provided for her children. She was one hell of a mom who taught us so much, but most of all how to stand tall and be strong when you're faced with the toughest situations in your life.
She worked at Walmart for about 8 years, where her beautiful smile and crazy funny attitude brightened up so many people's lives every day that came through her line. Still, today, in the year 2023, I have people telling me about how they worked with my mom and about how she was such a hard worker and an awesome woman.
Donna Ann Lockhart loved the color green, butterflies, classic rock music, good Louisiana food (her favorite was a seafood platter), and most of all, she loved her children unconditionally.
Donna Lockhart survived by her Sons, Lance Lockhart and Donald; Daughter Cathy Farabaugh; Brother Danny Lockhart, Grandson Jonah Linton; Granddaughters Lydia Lockhart, Rylie Lockhart, Sara Jean, and Anna Marie; Niece Christina Ghivizzani; Daughter-in-law Raeanne Wallace; Family, Angela Hayden; Ex Spouse & Good Friend, Pete Singer; and A Caring & Loving Friend, Toni Frampton.
Donna is preceded in death by, Father; Donald Lockhart; Mother, Anna Lockhart; Sister, Linda Schleicher, and Daughter, Jaren Ann Lockhart
