PEORIA ~ Donna Kay Meyer, 57, of Peoria, passed away at 6:50 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2020 in UnityPoint Health – Methodist in Peoria.
She was born on November 18, 1962 in Peoria to Larry and Wilma (Gibson) Smith. She married David Tucker. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her mother.
Surviving are her father, Larry (Jan) Smith of Bloomington; one son, Brad (Tasha) Hamilton of Manito; one daughter, Raeann (Dustin) Lutz of Spring Bay; four grandchildren, Kade and Kyla Hamilton and Braden and Brooklyn Mckenna; four sisters, Laura (David) Seaton of Washington, Diana (Steve) Kupfer of Eureka, Mary (Jerry) Musgrave of Ashland City, Tennessee, and Carol (Dan) Cruse of Hanna City; and many nieces and nephews.
She worked at TCRC as a driver and Amy’s Country Manor as a care giver for many years.
Donna enjoyed baking cakes and spending time with her animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and most of all her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
A private celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
