Miller, 78, of Howland and Sanibel, FL, died peacefully at home Monday morning, September 10, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 7, 1934 in Youngstown, the daughter of Simon T. and Grace E. (Douglas) Abey, and had lived in Northeast Ohio all her life. A beautiful, joyful lady, Donna was director of REM Electronics in Warren, the company her husband founded. An active member of the Trumbull Country Club, she also belonged to Big Arts in Sanibel, FL and was a member of long-standing of the Trumbull Memorial Hospital Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed golf, bridge, shopping, cooking, and being a hostess. Most of all, she relished her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and loyal friend. Fiercely dedicated to her family, her zest for life and her laughter will long be cherished. The light that she was, helped to illuminate the light of all whose lives she touched. Surviving are her husband and soul-mate of nearly 60 years, Robert E. Miller, whom she married November 15, 1952; four children: Robert E. Miller of Sanibel, Janet M. (Charles) Dyer of Greensboro, N.C., Randall E. Miller of Howland, Barbara E. (Michael) Heltzel of South Euclid, and her beloved Australian Labradoodle, Tassie; four grandchildren: Gretchen, Patrick, Caroline, and Mark Heltzel; and a brother, William (Mary Ann) Abey of Fort Myers, FL. Her life will be celebrated with a service at 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2012 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Becky Hudak officiating.
