Donna J. Mourar, born October 27, 1956, of N. Coventry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at her home.

Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Ruth (Stonesifer) Shaner.

Donna was born and raised in Pottstown and later moved around to several different places including the Poconos, Connecticut, and Albany, NY, before moving back to the Pottstown area to be closer to her grandchildren. She loved the beach, music, crafting, spending time with her grandchildren and the Christmas holiday season. Donna thoroughly enjoyed taking "Shaner Sister" trips and adventures with the "Swamp Sisters" and the "Wild Women Pirate Crew". She was very devoted to her career and was a tremendous leader and mentor to her coworkers. Donna also was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and enjoyed watching games with her friends and family.

Surviving is her son Drew Mourar; daughter Danielle Travagline; siblings Deborah Barndt, Michael Shaner, Lisa Schade, Melinda Speaker, wife of Scott, Karen Crable, wife of Dwayne, and Richard Shaner; grandchildren Logan, Juliette, Sarah, and Nicholas.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 12:00PM at Catagnus Funeral Home (711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464). Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date. A visitation will also be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 10:00AM-12:00PM at the funeral home.

To my cousin Donna, may you rest in peace. To the rest of my cousins and to Donna´s family, I know your grief as today I am also remembering our sister Mary, Donna´s cousin, who passed away last week. I know they are both in heaven. With much love, Terry Shaner Wade
