She loved her crafting and made beautiful Christmas decorations with her sister in laws that her family still enjoys. In earlier years they enjoyed camping and fishing with an annual trip with good friends to the Oregon Coast.
She enjoyed cooking and had a very large collection of cookbooks and cooking gadgets which she put to good use. She was able to pass on the art of Jerry's favorite German dishes to her granddaughters. Which they still create.
The family extends sincere thanks to the friends, neighbors and caregivers who offered support and comfort. Donna loved the forest, so in lieu of a memorial, the family asks that she be remembered whenever you next visit the beautiful woods of Central Oregon. If you would like to make a donation in her honor, please donate to Hospice or Highland Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
