Donna Lynnette Pruitt passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on November 29th, 2023.
She was born to Robert Sherman Pruitt and Marie Evelyn (Brents) in Memphis, Tennessee.
She graduated from Iuka High School in 1984 and went on to earn her degree in Drafting and Engineering from Northwest Alabama State Technical College. She then graduated from the Mississippi State Fire Academy in 1994 as a Volunteer Firefighter. Donna worked for Auto Zone for the past 15 years and proudly realized her goal of getting her own store as a Store Manager in Brookings, Oregon in April 2023.
Donna loved to fish, travel, and spend time with family and friends. She was a genuinely kind, funny and loving person who had never met a stranger.
She is survived by her life partner of 21 years Margaret M. Koenig of Brookings, Oregon, a brother Robert Wayne Pruitt of Iuka, Mississippi, a son Zachary Charles Stephens of Las Vegas, Nevada and other family members Christopher McCaslin of Rosamond, CA and Morgan Griffin of Brookings, Oregon.
Per her request, a private family celebration will be held in Mississippi at a later date.
