In Loving Memory of Donna Marie Sadula
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Donna Marie Sadula (nee Maluchnik) on September 19, 2025, at the age of 76.
Donna was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her, known for her generosity, infectious smile and laugh, and deep love for all animals. Born on July 25, 1949, in Chicago, Donna lived a life rich in simple pleasures: listening to music, shing with friends and family, and caring for her many beloved pets. She dedicated her career to The Chicago Tribune as a Circulation Supervisor, where she was highly respected by her colleagues.
Donna is survived by her sister Carolyn Maluchnik (Joseph Drazan) and nephews Gregg and Kyle Maluchnik, Christopher Campbell, Phil Latka, Nathan, and Dominic Glatz. She was preceded in death by her beloved partner, Gene Szostak; father and mother Dominick and Joan Maluchnik; brother Terrence (Deborah) Maluchnik and sister Debra (Walter) Latka. Donna also leaves behind a chosen family of loved ones who will miss her dearly: Suzanne Szostak, Bryce Skol eld, and Cole Pierce; Mike, Kiana, Derrick, Sean and Kierra Szostak; Jasmine, London, and Dallas Tucker.
Donna radiated con dence and strength, always true to herself, unafraid to take risks or voice her strong opinions. She was a devoted friend and con dante, extending her boundless generosity and kindness to everyone she encountered.
