Donna Schmitt Obituary
She was born in Cleveland on July 15, 1933 to Modest and Wanda Gadomski.
Donna is survived by her children, Kim (Gregory) Kuczynski and Brian (Lisa) Schmitt; grandchildren, Christopher, Katie and Anna; and a sister, Jacqueline.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James; and siblings, Dorothy, Bernie, Rick and Dennis.
Donna's biggest love were her grandchildren and her family and friends. She was always ready to organize a party so everyone could get together and have fun. She was also very involved with her church Our Lady of Grace, being on the Two Hearts Shrine Committee, working Blanket Sunday, Fish Fry's, and getting Christmas gifts organized for those in need. Donna had a ceramic shop in the middle of town for many years giving lessons and making many good friends along the way. She retired from Wayne/Medina Community Action after many years gladly helping all of those she could.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm, Monday, December 15, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 1088 Ridge Rd., Hinckley. Interment will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery, Hinckley.

Thinking of you, miss knowing you are here and just a phone call away, so many I should have made to you. I had so much to say, I love you, I remember you saving us kids if we broke something mom made in ceramics. You seemed to be the only one who Really knew how our mom was and treated us....Thank you for always checking, Love and miss you Auntie.
