Donna Jean Schofield (Maiden Name Deering), 76, passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2024, at The Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She was born on June 24th, 1948, in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, the daughter of Kenneth and Sara Deering.
Donna was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Philip Schofield, who preceded her in death. Donna enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought light and laughter into her life.
Donna is preceded in death by her beloved son Jason Schofield, grandson Matthew Schofield, and his fiancé Jessica – Lurvey Schofield. Donna leaves behind a lifetime of memories with her sons and their spouses, Steve and Rachael Schofield, and Scott and Kerry Schofield. Her grandchildren, Jessica Gaudet and husband Derek Gaudet, Christopher Schofield, Collin Schofield, Devin Schofield and wife Samantha Schofield, Brady Schofield, and Brody Schofield, along with her great-grandchildren, Abel Montecalvo, Jazzlynn Schofield, Jayce Montecalvo, Aiden Schofield, Jaxson Schofield, and Willow Schofield, all will deeply miss her presence. Donna was one of 16 children leaving behind her siblings, all of whom she was very close to and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held on June 22nd, 2024 at 12 Old Blood Rd in Merrimack, NH at 1PM. All family and friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Merrimack Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
