Born in Albany, Donna was a lifelong resident of the Capital District and remained deeply connected to the community she called home. Known for her warm heart and easy conversation, Donna was a friendly and familiar face to many throughout the area.
For many years she worked as a waitress, where her welcoming personality and kindness made a lasting impression on countless customers and coworkers. Later, Donna proudly served her neighbors and community as a CDTA bus driver, a role she carried out with dedication for several years.
Donna is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Arthur W. Schultz; her son, Michael (Laura) Schultz; her bonus grandsons, Albert (Drew), Christian, Luis, and Dillan; and her cherished granddaughter, Ellie, who brought her immense joy.
She also leaves behind her brother, Steven (Linda) Miller of Delmar; her beloved niece and goddaughter, Angela Miller McFarland of Ballston Spa; her nephews, Richard (Jill) Kearns and David Kearns; her great-nephews, Eric, Christopher, and Colin; along with countless dear friends, cousins, and extended family members who meant the world to her.
Donna was predeceased by her mother, Coramay Miller, her older brother Donald Miller, and her nephew Sean Miller. Fiercely loyal to her family and friends, those who passed before her remained close to her heart and were spoken of often with love and remembrance.
A talented and creative spirit, Donna had a remarkable ability to teach herself nearly any craft she set her mind to. She enjoyed crochet, needlepoint, painting, and many other hobbies, all of which reflected her patience, creativity, and keen eye for detail.
Donna and Art were devoted animal lovers and were well known for opening their home and hearts to a number of cats over the course of nearly 50 years.
