Donna J. Sczenski, 76, of Plano, IL passed away on November 1, 2025. Donna was born on October 26, 1949 in Johnson City, TN to William and Virginia (Peavler) Landreth.
Donna graduated from West Aurora High School and went on to work at Western Electric, Service Master and Comfort Inn. She enjoyed fishing, partying, dancing, doing various crafts and just having a good time. She also leaves behind her dog, Minnie, who she loved very much as well.
Donna is survived by her husband, Johnny Sczenski; Children, Charles (Carol) Jump of Sheridan, IL, Virginia (Larry) Silva of California, William Jump of California and Jason (Natalie) Jump of Aurora, IL; Siblings, Deanna Castleton of Sandwich, IL, Janice (Don) Sinclair of Marseilles, IL and Shelba Bracker of Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; As well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Brothers-in-law, Jesse Castleton, Carl Bracker and Bill Slingerland; Great grandchild, Michael Moore; As well as nephews, JJ Weldy, Wayne Weldy and Michael Clemens.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. with a private family graveside service afterwards out to Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL. Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home.
