It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Donna P. Seitz on October 14, 2025. Donna was a devoted sister, mother, aunt and friend who brought light, laughter, and compassion to everyone she met.
Born on September 14, 1958, in Sacramento, California, to Pat and Bev Seitz, Donna lived a life filled with purpose and service. She dedicated over 45 years of her professional life to the County of Los Angeles Lobbyist Group, where her deep understanding of legislative issues and her exceptional writing skills made a lasting impact. Donna worked tirelessly on matters involving Health Services, Health and Human Services, and Children’s Services, always with integrity, care, and a desire to help others.
The greatest joy of Donna’s life was her daughter, Lauren, whom she raised with love and faith. A lifelong Catholic, Donna shared her spirituality through years of volunteer work teaching religious education at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, where her kindness touched the lives of many children and families.
Donna is survived by her daughter Lauren, brother Steven (Kim), niece Alyssa (Travis) (great-niece Ainsley), and nephew Ryan (great-nephew Lincoln), as well as countless friends and colleagues who were blessed to know her. Her gentle spirit, bright smile, and generous heart will be remembered and cherished forever.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Sacramento, California. Interment will follow at East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park & Mortuary at 11:30 a.m.
Donna’s memory will live on in the love she shared, the faith she nurtured, and the many lives she touched.
