Mrs. Donna Rose Tipton Settles

Mrs. Donna Rose Tipton Settles, 67, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her loving Heavenly Father Saturday, March 4, 2017. Mrs. Settles was born on September 18, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was certified in early childhood development and retired as a nursery teacher. Mrs. Settles was a member of Bible Covenant Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Luerline Gastinger Tipton; husband, Bobby and her son, Andy. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Pam Fischbach (Shawn), Kevin Settles (Bobbi Jo) and Brian Settles; grandchildren, Tiffany Cortes, Paul Hall, Janis Rogers, Beth Record and Drew Settles; 6 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Carolyn DePalma (Dan), Lawrence "Buddy" Tipton (Edie), Bonita Happe (Jim), Dotti Schultheis Russell (John), Kenny Tipton (Donnajane), Kathy Holderman and Peggy Sue Jones. Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. & Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery.
