WEST ALEXANDRIA — Donna D. Smith, 88, of West Alexandria, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering.
She was born Jan. 4, 1934, in Preble County, to the late John and Voleria (Whipp) Donson. She was a clogging and dance director for Preble Pride for 35 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Eugene Donson Sr. and Robert Donson.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ken Smith of West Alexandria; and daughter Deb Smith of West Alexandria.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, from 12:30 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at Gard Funeral Home (formerly Lindloff Zimmerman), 67 W. Dayton Street, West Alexandria, with Pastor Bob Shannon and Pastor Lynn Mercer officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria.

Donna was a very special lady with a beautiful heart and smile. We enjoyed our time spent with her and Preble Pride. Our hearts go out to Ken and Deb. Prayers for you both.
