81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 1, 2025, in Wichita, KS with her family by her side. She was born in Hagerstown, MD to Don and Justina Mae (Hedrick) Auvil on May, 8, 1944. After many years as a beautician she worked at Truesdell Middle School in the cafeteria as manager before retiring. She also was very involved in her Church, St. Anne Catholic Church helping with the Altar Society in the kitchen. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Marvin H. Stoffel, Wichita, KS; children, Kathleen (Tom) Johansen, Wichita, KS, Elizabeth (Wayne) McDowell, Benton, KS and Michael (Jennifer) Stoffel, Valley Center, KS; siblings, John "Tom" (Peggy) Auvil, Ozark, MO and Ann (Bruce) Kater, Stark City, MO; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Rosary will be held on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, at 9:30 am with Funeral Mass at 10:00 am both held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2801 S. Seneca, Wichita, KS. Burial will follow the Funeral Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, 1640 N. Maize Rd, Wichita, KS. The service will be livestream from St. Anne's Catholic Church.

When my family moved next door to Marvin and Donna in 2015 Donna instantly became like another grandmother to me and my siblings. When she found out that we shared a birthday she got me flowers. I have many fond memories of Marvin and Donna bringing over homemade bread or cookies to us. It was always so fun to talk to them and I am so sad to hear of Donna´s passing.

News of Donna's passing saddened me greatly. When I arrived at St. Anne's back in 2010-2011, Donna was so welcoming towards me. She cared about me like how a grandmother figure would. She was a true blessing. My prayers are with Donna's family, friends and loved ones.
Eternal rest grant unto Donna, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
