Donna Marie Swenson

Sam & Maria....Sending condolences to the family of Donna Swenson! Our heartfelt sympathy on the transitioning of your jewel. Donna came into my life around 2018, when I started taking piano lessons with her in Summerville, South Carolina. She was very meticulous about practicing and and I did just that!

I actually learned to play the piano at age 56 and yes I was the oldest student Donna had at that time! I learned right along with other 6 and 7 year old students. She was serious about her students learning and she was so magnificent with teaching. She loved it!

To the family...thanks for sharing her with us for so many years. I want you all to know that she changed my life and answered my prayer of learning to play the piano. She was a gem! Always so supportive in all aspects of my life.

She hosted the recitals at her house, and it was such an amazing event around the holidays! She asked us to play at a local nursing home as well. It was a joyous occasion. Donna was a great listener and she shared stories about her life on the farm in North Dakota, many of them very humorous.

I will hold thoughts & great memories of Donna close to my heart forever. Sending hugs and blessings to the family.
