Donna Tate, 61, of Jonesboro, passed away at her home on November 28, 2025. Donna was born in Elgin, IL, on October 15, 1964, to Shirley and the late James Sartain. In addition to her father, Donna is preceded in death by her sister, Michelle Sullins, and brother-in-law, Robert Sullins.
Donna spent most of her life in Northeast Arkansas after living in Elgin, IL, for just a few years. In her youth, she loved fishing. Donna also enjoyed watching movies and TV shows. Her favorite genres were crime dramas and Christmas films. Most importantly, Donna cherished time with her family. Her motto was “the more, the merrier.” She treasured her moments with her children, grandchildren, cousins, and friends. Donna lived a life full of love and will be deeply missed.
Donna is survived by her mother, Shirley Sartain; daughters, Christian Emerson (Adam) and Elizabeth Tate (Montrel Mosley II); her brother, Michael Sartain (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Jocelyn, Raegan, and Xavian; and numerous other family members, including cousins, aunts, uncles, and nieces.
