Donna Jo Walker, 73, of Thomas, passed away on May 29, 2024, at Davis Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Born on April 8, 1951, in Clarksburg, she was the daughter of the late Donald Fink and Mary Jo (Marks) Fink who survives.
Donna graduated from Hamilton Township High School before embarking on a career in nursing, where she exhibited compassion and care towards others until her retirement. Donna found joy in various activities, such as quilting, gardening, coin collecting, and reading. She also cherished moments spent attending concerts and traveling with her family, particularly beach trips and Disney vacations. Her greatest pleasure stemmed from gathering with her loved ones.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 52 years, Alan Walker, to whom she was married on December 13, 1972; five daughters, Angela Kuss of Pittsburgh, Dana Quattro and husband Brian of Davis, Kara Gross and husband Chris of Thomas, Shanna Walker of Thomas, and Laura Cunningham and husband Ron of Elkins; twelve grandchildren, Brian, Jenna, Hanah, Madison, Leah, Isaac, Aaron, Bryson, Mayah, Waylon, Noah, and Ayla; three great grandchildren, Jaxson, Gus, and Gianna; five siblings, Barbara Quattro and husband Robert of Davis, David Fink and wife Beverly of Martinsburg, Daniel Fink and wife Susan of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Paul Fink and companion Cathy Martin of Davis, and Kris Jones and husband Rob of Philippi; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Judy Watts.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marianne Lambert.
Friends will be received on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 2 to 4 PM, at the Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home, 567 Thomas Ave., Davis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 11 AM in the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 316 Brown St., Thomas, with Fr. Martin Smay as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
