Donna Elizabeth Thrash Weatherall, of Mesquite Texas, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on January 8, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born on September 5, 1947 in Waco, Texas. She graduated from Mesquite High School in 1966, and cherished all of her friends. She married the love of her life, Robert "Sonny" Weatherall on September 19, 1966. Donna was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Donna joins her heavenly family: father, Donald "Don" Thrash; mother, Mildred McCollaum Thrash; and husband, Robert "Sonny" Weatherall.
She is survived by her son, Ronald "Ronnie" Weatherall and wife Julie of Oakwood, Texas; daughter, Amy Elizabeth Weatherall of Mesquite, Texas; brother, Michael Thrash and wife Carla of Quitman, Texas; sister, Dianna Thrash of Edinburg, Texas; grandchildren, John Weatherall and wife Darian of Barstow, California, Daniel Ramirez and wife Amber of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Amanda Keetin and husband Ryan of Charleston, Arkansas; 11 great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
Donna and Amy had shared many adventures together, not only as mother and daughter, but also as best friends. Donna leaves behind a family she was not only proud of, but loved with all her being. She was very loved by so many and will be dearly missed. But we know she is with her Heavenly Father and the love of her life, Sonny.
