Donna Ziegert Obituary

Donna was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, by the late Russell E. Huff and Vera Marie Huff. She was the proud and loving mother of three children-Ronda Crump (married to R. Tracy Crump), Robin Higgins (married to Craig Higgins), and Rodney Ziegert. She was also a cherished grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren: Ren Crump, Rylan Crump, Jarod Higgins, Evan Higgins, Ciara Higgins, and Dalton Ziegert and two beautiful great-grand children: Esther Crump (Rylan) and Penelope Crump (Ren).
Donna touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Her warmth and generous spirit will be remembered forever. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love that lives on in all of us.
Services to honor Donna's life will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 6:00pm at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel: 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN 46614. Family and friends may gather from 4:00-6:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Private burial will take place at Southlawn Cemetery.
