Donnie Baker Obituary
December 12, 1958 – September 12, 2010
PILOT COMMUNITY – Donney "Donnie" Kurt Baker, 51, of 842 Pilot Riley Rd., died Sunday. A native of Wake County he was son to the late Darnell Thomas & Mildred Robbins Baker. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and brother. Donnie loved working on automobiles and was a first class mechanic. He was also preceded in death by sister, Shelia Bagwell.
He is survived by his son Donnie Baker (Mary) of Dunn, sisters, Charlotte Wignall (Bill) of Zebulon, and Susan Brantley (Kerry) of Zebulon, brothers, Alvin Baker (Linda) of New Bern, and Jerry Baker (Sue) of Zebulon, and grandsons, Cody & Wyatt.
A gathering to commerate Donnie's life will be held 3 pm, Wednesday, at the home of Susan Brantley, 4885 Brantley Rd., Zebulon.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions to the Donnie K. Baker Account c/o any State Employees Credit Union
Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home, Wendell.
