Mr. Donnie W. Scruggs Sr.

Mr. Donnie W. Scruggs, Sr., 73, of Aiken, SC, devoted husband, soulmate and best friend of fifty-three years to Dianne Fain Scruggs, entered into rest suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, morning, November 19, 2025.
A lifelong area resident and son of the late E.R. and Thelma Fain Scruggs, Donnie graduated from Langley-Bath-Clearwater High School and shortly afterwards married the former Dianne Fain. They were blessed with their first-born son, Donnie, Jr. (Ashlynn) and later a second son, Derrik. (Liann Conner)
For many years, Donnie was a Welder with B and S Machine Tool. Donnie could be described as modern day MacGyver. If it had wheels, nuts, bolts and nails he could fix it or build it.
His family was his life. He was a devoted husband to Dianne, the world's greatest dad to Donnie, Jr. and Derrik and the absolute best Pop to Carter and Reese. His love for his family knew no bounds. Donnie never missed an opportunity to tell a joke. Sometimes his jokes made you genuinely laugh, sometimes, you had to make yourself laugh.
Along with his family, Donnie is loved and will be missed greatly by his four-legged children, Cami and Kirby, as well as other relatives and friends.
Also preceding Donnie in death was a sister, Sandra Prince.
Let us also not forget that Donnie was an avid DAWG fan. GO DAWGS, GO YOU SILVERBRITCHES AND HUNKER DOWN HAIRY DAWGS!
In accordance with his wishes, Donnie will be cremated, and no service will be held.
