We attended the service on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
Sharing our condolences with Donovan's children meant so much to us. My sister, Delores Singleton-Blackwell worked with Mr. Charles Hudson, his Dad and got to know Donovan during that time. She left Opelousas and moved to Baton Rouge, but never forgot Donovan. We both will keep the family in our prayers.

My condolences to Donovan´s family. I shall always remember his kindness and willingness to help others. His smile was infectious and made others feel like at ease. I´ll always be grateful for his assistance with a problem I was having on my job at the time. His presence will be missed because he was a true servant. Thank you for sharing your loved one with the community.

I am a fellow member of Manresa retreat group 31. Donovan and I shared several silent meals sitting at the same table over the years. I mentioned to Donovan this year I was having restless sleep and he gifted me a wonderful digital photo frame with rotating images of our Manresa retreats. He was a particular blessing to me. I hold him in my heart, thoughts and prayers.

Donovan was a dear friend and fellow retreatant in Manresa, Group 31. He will be dearly missed. My condolences to the family.
