Dora Alcala Obituary
Dora was born on July 23, 1939, in Marlin, Texas to Ernest and Eulalia Willis. She married her loving husband, Fabian Alcala, in Benjamin, Texas on October 28, 1958. Dora and Fabian were married for over 66 years and lived in White Settlement, Texas. Together, they raised their three children, Melinda, Fabian Jr., and Cynthia; they traveled the U.S. singing in their gospel band, and served in their local church in various ways.
Dora prioritized her faith and family above all and leaves a lasting legacy to all who knew her. She both served the Lord and loved those around her selflessly. She will be forever missed.
Dora was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Eulalia Willis; brother, Ernest Willis Jr.; sister, Emily Avila; son, Fabian Alcala Jr.; and daughter, Melinda Garner.
She is survived by husband, Fabian Alcala; daughter, Cynthia Arteaga; grandchildren, Jay Arnold and wife, Brandi, Nick Arnold and wife, Danielle, and Christian and Erica Arteaga; great-grandchildren, Canon, Emalie, and Joselyn Arnold; great-great-grandchildren, Cade and Cooper Arnold; her sisters, Dorothy Patino and Pauline Estrada; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters-in-law that loved her dearly.
