Dora N. Ambrosecchia
Dora N. Ambrosecchia of Greenwich, CT died peacefully while in hospice at home surrounded by her family on October 7, 2024 at the age of 83.
She was born January 12, 1941 to Domenico and Antonietta Ambrosecchia in Morra de Sanctis, Avellino, Italy.
Dora immigrated to Greenwich from Italy in 1962 with her husband Pasquale, where they raised their two sons, John and Alessandro.
Dora worked at Greenwich Hospital, retiring in 2008 as a supervisor in the kitchen/cafeteria.
Dora enjoyed gardening, puttering around in her yard, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son Alessandro (Kimberly) Ambrosecchia, grandson Alexander "Mac" Ambrosecchia, niece Dora Forgione and other family members.
Dora was predeceased by her husband Pasquale and her son John.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Roch's Church on Tuesday. October 15, 2024 at 10 a.m. followed by the burial at St. Mary Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Greenwich Hospital and Constellation Hospice services for their care and support in Dora's final weeks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ALS Association.

I met Dora when I started working at Greenwich Hospital she was the sweetest woman and we shared a good laugh many times. Dora you will not be forgotten my friend. Rest in peace.
