Dora Chavez Obituary
Dora Chavez, age 86, born in Yeso, NM passed away peacefully at her home on December 17, 2025, in Bernalillo, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents Olympia Sanchez and Isidro Sanchez, Sr. and husband Melisendro Chavez. Dora is survived by her two sons Joseph wife Evelyn and Melvin Chavez. Grandsons Austin (Celia), Phoenix and Brandon Chavez, brother Freddie (Katie) sister Dolores and many other relatives.
A Rosary and Mass will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM A private burial will be held by the family at a later date.
