Dora Virginia James McMillan

Mrs. Dora Virginia James McMillan, 85, died Monday evening (April 2, 2012) at Satilla Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Manor. She was a homemaker and member of Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy. She was the daughter of the late Walton James and Maggie Cribb James. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Victor McMillan; one grandson, Jake McMillan; one sister, Evelyn Beverly; and one brother, Wesley James. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra King (husband Elmond) of Waycross; five sons, Ronald McMillan (wife Cleo) of Albany, Jack McMillan (wife JoAnn) of Manor, Wendell McMillan (wife Pamela) of Waycross, Lane McMillan (wife Faye) of Manor, and Roger McMillan (wife Connie) of Manor; 10 grandchildren, April Reese, Lisa Klais, Denise Bailey, Tara McMillan, Jeremy McMillan, Matthew McMillan, Christopher McMillan, Crystal McMillan, Caleb Manac and Taylor Manac; 13 great grandchildren; one brother, H. B. James of Waycross; one sister, Margaret Shear of Valdosta; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday (April 6, 2012) at Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. Thursday at the church until time of the service.
