Barb Knox, 66, loving wife and devoted mother, passed peacefully into her Saviour's arms on December 3, 2009. Funeral services will be December 9 at 10 a.m. at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. on December 8 at the church.
Barb was a member of Glad Tiding Assembly of God, where she had served as a 1st grade teacher for many years.
Barb was preceded in death by her mother, LeOra Blackledge and father, Glenn Blackledge.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Byron Knox; two sons, Jeff and Chris Knox; brother, Les (Pam) Blackledge; sisters, Shari (Kris) Simbro, Roberta (Jim) Vermillion, and Juanita Shuey all of Newton; Jan (Ron) Smith of Tama; brother, Leland (Beth) Blackledge of St. Paul, MN; and sister, Marvelyn Burk of Longview, WA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Taylor House.
