Dora Perdue 85, of Greenfield passed away and went to be with her Lord on April 3, 2015. She was born in Hazard, KY on November 27, 1929. Daughter of Virgie and Benton Cornett. She worked for Indianapolis Public Schools and Fager Catering. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, Cooking, and Gardening. She was a lifelong member of Bible Study Chapel of Indianapolis; then attended Sugar Grove Bible Church of Greenfield. Dora is survived by daughters, Judy Welch Mary (Mike) Duncan of Ohio, Freda Hodson, Barbara (Doug) Harlow of Ohio, Cyndy (Danny) Duckworth of Florida, Vicky Robling; Son, Donnie (Trish) Perdue; 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Dora was preceded in death by her parents Virgie and Benton Cornett; Her Husbands, Josh Caudell and Ray Perdue; Sisters, Irene and Myrtle, 1 brother, Floyd; grandchildren, Michelle, Harger, and Chase Stallings. The family would like to thank all of the Hancock Regional Memorial Hospice Unit for the love and care they gave to our Mother and entire family. Family and Friends may call from 4:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday, April 7, 2014 and Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 10:00am-11:00 with funeral service at 11:00am in Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis Memorial Contributions may be made to Hancock Regional Hospital Foundation, in care of Hospice care unit.
