Dora June Rector

Dora June Rector, daughter of Ollie Martin Stout and Flora Jane Stout, was born on June 13, 1943, in Ellington, Missouri. June passed from this life into eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in her home in Winona, Missouri, on January 19, 2026.

In 1961, June met and married Darrell Rector of Shannon County. To this union, four children were born: two sons and two daughters, Debbie, Matt, Pam, and Roger. June worked as a stay-at-home mother for many years. When her children were grown, she continued taking care of others by working as a home health aide. She loved to read, go on walks, and tend to her flower gardens. She spent a great deal of time with her family. She was unfailingly generous and kind. A good heart and soul, to be missed forevermore.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Flora Stout; two brothers, Wilburt Stout and Delmar Stout; two sisters, Mavis Stout and Alpha Lee; and her husband, Darrell Rector.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Matthew Rector of Muscatine, IA; Debbie Zimmerman of Burlington, IA, Pam Rector of Burlington, and Roger Rector of Winona, MO; six grandchildren, Jacob, Ashlyn, Austin, Courtny, Ian, and Dakota; four great-grandchildren; her nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends, all of whom loved her very much.

The family has lost an incredible woman and a pivotal part of the family. If you want to see June again, you must ask God to forgive you and come into your heart.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri, with Pastor Adam Gordan officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Winona. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
